How to reset factory settings by flashing files on XTool

 

If you’ve forgotten or lost your Xtool tablet device screen lock password, PIN, not to mess trial input the password, 3 or 5 attempts wrong it will lock the machine. The only way to unlock your device is to do a factory reset.

*You should need to reset the factory settings by flashing files.

What you need to do:

Step 1: Please purchase XTOOL flash file system service as follows firstly

Step 2: Provide your device SN and contact our customer service to arrange the XTOOL tech to help you flash your device in your spare time

Step 3: After that, connect the XTOOL tablet to your computer via USB cable

Step 4:Open TeamViewer on your PC and tell us the ID and password

Step 4: Once you input the valid code, it starts getting “Calculation Request Number…”. It will take 30 seconds to 3 minutes in whole process, please be patient!



Step 5: When the calculation process is done, you will get a message “Get data successfully!”



Please kindly notice:

If your internet was interrupted during the online calculation, you will receive an error report “Error code: E40303 Failed to get valid immobilizer information, please connect the dealer or after-sales department”.


Don’t worry about this problem, your VAG Point Code is still available to use if the calculation fails. Just try to start the calculation using the same code again.
