How to program 2007 BMW M3 key with Xtool X100 Pad3

 

A simple guide on how to use Xtool X100 Pad 3 xpad3 to program key for BMW M3 2007 Cas3+.

• Car model and year: BMW M3 2007
• Purpose: Key Programming
• BMW key programmer to use: Xtool X100 Pad 3

Simple Guide:

BMW - auto search and show you what system it has. Manually after the model will also show what kind of system. It's better to make a copy of the time before making keys after lunch. There is always something to come back to.

 

Please note that: after obd xpad3 probably will do it too, but it's better to have a copy in case of failure. Turn on the charger when you're about to work afternoon.

 

CAS3 or CAS3+?

Will depend on what region or country you are in. You should try determining exactly which CAS either 3 or 3+ Either way. Much safer to remove CAS and program on bench

To avoid Bricking CAS module.

 

2007 can easily be Cas3+

If you attempt via OBD2 you will have a good chance to brick the CAS module

ALWAYS do these on bench.

The extra 10 minutes is well worth the 5+ hours to recover the CAS module.

Programming 2020 Nissan Navara Key with Xtool X100 Pad3

Xtool X100 Pad3 Key Programmer supports to add a key for 2020 Nissan Navara via OBD successfully. Next, I’m gonna use an ID46 aftermarket key to demonstrate.



Plug X100 Pad3 connector into OBD, go to

Diagnosis >> Nissan >> Agree >> Program keys >> Select from vehicle >> Europe >> Navara >> Smart key system >> 2014-2017





It’s very simple, just follow the instructions:

Take all smart keys out of the car and press the START button.



OK >> Program smart keys



Switch ignition off.



Has the steering lock been released? No



Release success.

Meanwhile, the steering is just unlock.



Put the smart key to be programmed on START button, and hit START button.

Wait for the security light to extinguish...



The indicated light on dashboard is flashing and then stops. The security light is extinguished.

Press “OK” after finished.





Program success.

Press “Yes” to program next one. Otherwise, press “No”.

(You can reprogram the original key in this procedure)



Switch ignition off.

Put the programmed smart key on START button and start the car.

You’ll hear a continuous beep sound.



Test the keys now, both are workable.

Key adding has done!

Xtool X100 PAD3 Program Mazda Type 5 All Keys Lost

It is a Mazda car (type5). The customer lost all keys. The new keys programming were completed by Xtool X100 PAD3 key programmer.



Note:
1.This tutorial applies to xtool tablet incl. Xtool Xpad elite, X100 pad 2 and X100 PAD

2.In Immobiliser function, you can use two ways to select your vehicle: by type and by vehicle are both OK
3.This operation must be connected to the network
4.In all keys lost function, the all keys will be erased



Main operation guide:

In general, directly connect X100 PAD 3 to the vehicle via main diagnostic cable is ok.

For the convenience of viewing the test, connect x100 pad3, dashboard, Mazda ECU and the ignition test platform as follows

When turn the ignition on, the engine IMMO warning light appears on the dashboard.

Select Diagnosis->Immobilizer-> MAZDA-> agree with the disclaimer-> Select by type-> Type 5-> All keys lost

 

Read all keys lost instruction and press “YES” to continue

l All key will be erased and the min keys are required is 2.



Then complete the following procedures, engine can be started:

1.Switch ignition off

2.Switch ignition on with key 1 for 3 sec and then switch off and remove the key


3.Switch ignition on with key 2 for 3 sec and then switch off and remove the key



4.If you want to add more keys, please repeat procedure 3

When the procedure is complete, use the two keys to turn on the ignition switch separately, the engine IMMO warning light disappears.

Read the number of keys is 2 now.
