Tips to XTOOL PS90 Bluetooth Pairing

There is a Bluetooth module built into the VCI box to enable wireless connection to the PS90 tablet.
Indicators:
1. Power Indicator: Turns green to indicate the power is on.
2. Bluetooth Indicator: Turns red when Bluetooth is not connected, turns blue when Bluetooth is successfully connected.
3. Vehicle Indicator: Turns green when VCI box is connected with vehicle successfully.
4. USB Indicator: turns green when PS90 tablet and VCI box are connected via USB cable.
Bluetooth Connection :3->2->5->6

a. Connect the main test cable to the VCI box, then connect the main test cable with the OBD2 16 Pin connector or other connector, then plug into vehicles DLC port .
b. Do not connect the PS90 Tablet to the VCI box with the USB cable. The Bluetooth will be paired automatically between PS90 tablet and VCI box.
c. Switch on the ignition and turn on PS90 tablet, then tap on PS90 application icon to test vehicles.
Bluetooth pairing:
a. Select the VCI serial number and PS90 will pair with it automatically when running PS90 APP.

How to pair with another device?
Unpair the current device first, and then pair with the device you want Click Setting, and

Unpair the current device.

Select the device you want to pair with PS90 and input the PIN code.

Q: I need assistance I pulled my tool today only to realise I couldn't connect to the car?it told me " Bluetooth Connection Failed "

You should Go to app setting,then go blutooth ..in serch your divice pair, If you can find your blutooth pair, connection Directly, or if you can’t find the Bluetooth, Maybe your Bluetooth is broken.

Program Hyundai i20 Smart Key with Xtool X100 Pad2

Purpose: #Hyundai i20 PINCODE reading+ Key Programming

Prepare：
XTOOL X100 PAD2/X100 PAD2 Pro
One original car key
One blank key

Steps:



Connect x100 pad2 key programmer to the vehicle

Enter X100PAD2 APP



Go to Immobilization-> KIA-> Security/Authorization code-> 46 Authorization Code-> Mechanical key



It takes about 2 minutes to get the security code.



After that, return to the Immobilization main menu, select Hyundai-> Program immobiliser/remote-> select from type-> immobilizer-> Type 4 (CAN)-> Program keys




Insert a key to be programmed, turn ignition on, press “OK” to continue



Input the security code has got



Program key successfully



Use the same steps to program next key

The new key is programmed successfully.

Now the key programming is complete.



Finally, use the key to start the car, works well!

Xtool X100 PAD3 Program Mazda Type 5 All Keys Lost

It is a Mazda car (type5). The customer lost all keys. The new keys programming were completed by Xtool X100 PAD3 key programmer.



Note:
1.This tutorial applies to xtool tablet incl. Xtool Xpad elite, X100 pad 2 and X100 PAD

2.In Immobiliser function, you can use two ways to select your vehicle: by type and by vehicle are both OK
3.This operation must be connected to the network
4.In all keys lost function, the all keys will be erased



Main operation guide:

In general, directly connect X100 PAD 3 to the vehicle via main diagnostic cable is ok.

For the convenience of viewing the test, connect x100 pad3, dashboard, Mazda ECU and the ignition test platform as follows

When turn the ignition on, the engine IMMO warning light appears on the dashboard.

Select Diagnosis->Immobilizer-> MAZDA-> agree with the disclaimer-> Select by type-> Type 5-> All keys lost

 

Read all keys lost instruction and press “YES” to continue

l All key will be erased and the min keys are required is 2.



Then complete the following procedures, engine can be started:

1.Switch ignition off

2.Switch ignition on with key 1 for 3 sec and then switch off and remove the key


3.Switch ignition on with key 2 for 3 sec and then switch off and remove the key



4.If you want to add more keys, please repeat procedure 3

When the procedure is complete, use the two keys to turn on the ignition switch separately, the engine IMMO warning light disappears.

Read the number of keys is 2 now.
